Here, You’ll Find Angels Around Every Corner
At Generations, we’re actively seeking ways to promote “ageless communities” where members young and old learn to protect and care for one another.
At AngelWorx, volunteer Angels cultivate personal, one-on-one contact with isolated, homebound elderly and/or disabled individuals called Very Important Pals, or VIPs. Together, we’re helping to bridge the gap between young and old. Thanks to Generations and volunteers like you, angels are everywhere.
AngelWorx is a volunteer program that costs nothing to join, and does not have any monthly meetings to attend. This type of time commitment flexibility allows even the busiest person to participate.
AngelWorx is designed to promote social contact between volunteers (Angels) and isolated, homebound individuals (VIPs — Very Important Pals). Each month we ask our volunteer angels to contact their Very Important Pal at least twice a month either by phone or letter. We also encourage random acts of kindness when possible.
If you’re a homebound elderly and/or disabled individual who would benefit from socialization, you’re eligible to become a VIP.
